Join us for a bead bonanza this month and unleash your creativity! Whether you're a crafting expert or just starting out, we have all the supplies and enthusiasm to help you craft your masterpiece.

Is boredom giving you the blues? The Library's got your back! We're inviting you to join our Adult Board Game group where we'll be gathering once a month to play, laugh and maybe even learn a new game or two. Bring along your own favourite board game or we're happy to share ours with you. Don't worry if you haven't played before, we'll help you become a board game master in no time!

When: Thursday, September 19th | 6pm

Join us this September for a full tutorial on how to use heat-transfer vinyl to create your very own customized tea towel. Tea towels will be provided; some comfort with technology is recommended.

After the great fire of Gravenhurst in 1887, the community united with hope, energy, and resolve, to rebuild. The townspeople worked together to reconstruct their homes, displaying resilience, unity, and a spirit of renewal. Despite the scars left by the fire, the people's strength and solidarity prevailed, shining brightly in the town's rejuvenation.

October Programs

Join author Wendie Donabie as she discusses her newest book Views from the Edge of the Earth which shares poetic reflections and images by Wendie. All of Wendie’s books will be available for purchase at this event.

Calling all grown-ups! Bring your little ones to our Baby & Me Cricut Crafting Program and learn how to make a custom onesie using puff vinyl. All craft supplies will be provided; participants are asked to bring in a onesie and a personal device. Some comfort with technology recommended.

Please bring CASH and your own reusable bags.

Participants will enjoy creative freedom and leave with a charming bookmark, perfect for adding a handmade touch to their reading. Join us for a Fall into Reading Challenge. For each challenge you complete you earn one entry into a draw for a prize. Challenges include reading a book written by an Indigenous author, reading a book set in Canada, reading a book that has magic in it, plus several more.
