2026 is an election year for municipalities and school boards across Ontario, including the Town of Gravenhurst.
Gravenhurst will vote by telephone or internet.
Voting opens at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October, 14, 2026.
Election Day is October 26, 2026.
Voter Information Letters (VILs), which provides the dates and hours of the voting period and instructions for how to vote via telephone or internet, are anticipated to be delivered on, or around, September 30, 2026.
The Town regulates where, when, and how election signs may be displayed within the municipality. These rules help support a fair election process. Candidates, registered third-party advertisers, and residents are encouraged to review the by-law before installing or displaying election signs: By-law No. 2024-111 Election Signs
